It was a Saturday night and I understand places like this will be busy but changes need to be made in the service and atmosphere if we will even consider going back. Maybe I was mistaken but isn't the server supposed to do this? He returned another 5 minutes later with our check. He finally appeared and asked if anybody had brought the check out to us yet. After finishing with desert, we waited another 30 minutes without even seeing our server. We made a selection and waited another 15 minutes to receive it. After about 5 minutes he returned and explained the desert menu. After telling him that we would look at the selection he brought out the tray, placed it on our table and said "I'll be right back". After we were finished eating it took the server more than 30 minutes to notice and ask us if we wanted desert. We already had drinks when we were seated so the extent of his duty initially was to explain how the flip cards work. I will say that the lady refilling our water and the gentleman going around with the meat were very attentive but our server was another story. We spent most of the meal just staring at each other and signifying our enjoyment of the different meats by giving each other thumbs up. People were shouting at other people at their table which in turn required everyone else to shout in order to carry on a conversation. It was so loud in the restaurant that we couldn't hear the servers or much less each other sitting directly across from one another. The food and selection did not disappoint but the atmosphere was terrible. We went here for a birthday dinner were looking forward to having a nice evening with good food, drinks, and conversation.
